Through community education social projects with the Museum of Rio de Janeiro and the European Design Institute of Sao Paulo, Mana works with teenagers and students in Brazil teaching jewelry making and creative re-use. She sees luxury in seemingly unusable materials using mini-flasks, PET bottles, phone cards, toothpicks, hair clips, plastic netting, pearls & silver to create unique, modern jewelry crafted by hand.
